skippy Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 egghead, over the last few years, people have had to do a certificate 3 in youthworking here, I worked as a youthworker in a juvenile detention centre [young persons prison] for 14 years, unfortunately I got medically retired because of injuries sustained in the workplace. Most institutions like these are only too glad to put you through the courses needed as they can't keep staff, can be dangerous at times, try looking at Juvenile Justice on Google.
