Guest ollie247
Hi, We are moving back to the UK in a few months. We have been in Melbourne for 3 years now and previously in the UK me and my partner have always worked and paid tax and NI. Does anyone know if you have to pay a penalty to be entitiled to Doctors/Dentists NHS etc. Someone told me that you have to pay your NI contri for the years we have not been living in ENGLAND??? Is this true?? Thanks Ollie247:wacko:
Guest proud2beaussie
National Insurance : Directgov - Britons living abroad has some information about the NI situation. As far as GP and Dentist access as far as I am aware if you have an NHS number you would be able to register with your GP again and have access as usual.
