Have discovered that apparently there is a law in Australia that stops residents investing (eg buying a house) overseas. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks Determined by the bank you are borrowing from. They can either say yes or no to the loan. The recipricol(sp) agreement allows you to to purchase / borrow in the uk, or Oz.
