OAP's are on their way

My MUm And Dad are Flying to Melboure early March. They were doing a house exchange but now because of the fires this has been counciled.

So they are now only staying for 5 weeks but have to get accomadation ect. they want to see Sydney Tas and the Great ocean road.

They are both over 70 and not sure how to go about this on a budget has anyone got any ideas on organised trips for OAP's, Cars hire, good cheap accomadation, and anything else that maybe of interest.

 

They Know no one over there so I want to make this as easy as poss for them, but know little about Victoria.

I am not sure about tours for OAP's but you could try looking at OzXposure Australian Tours | New Zealand Tours | Western Australia Adventure Tours and APT Australia, Escorted Tours to Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Tasmania, Kangaroo Island

To hire a car from the airport with the excess reduction with the company we use would be around $300 a week.

 

Accommodation - We have two property owners who advertise whose properties would be ideal and are between $400 - $420 per week Moving to Melbourne: Accommodation Available in Melbourne so it works out around 26 UK Pounds per night.

 

We have a gap in our property Melbourne Furnished Rental Accommodation South East in between bookings from the 3rd March until the 17th March, I could do this at a discounted price but they may be wanting to be closer to the city.

 

 

We have done tours with APT and highly recommend them.
