suzer
Hi all, We're going to Hobart for Easter for about 5 days---any suggestions on things to do and do we really need a rental car? Suzer
Guest PommieLady
I would recommend using tripadvisor wherever you go. I've not really 'done' Hobart although I go to the prison fairly regularly. We went for a short break last year and found that the reviews matched what the locals said, including those that had lived in Hobart. Hobart Restaurants: Read Hobart Restaurant Reviews - TripAdvisor This give you some info on local restaurants, but you can also look at reviews and local attractions. Hope this helps Stef x

The Cadbury Chocolate Factory Tour Funny you should mention Cadbury's.... The Tasmanian's think its the home of Cadbury, they can not get their head around Bournville Village or that Cadbury's make chocolate in Birmingham :biglaugh: I went to Cadbury World in Birmingham last year and brought back a poster (for my office wall) eluding the the origins of Cadbury's just to wind my colleagues up (or should I say cell mate). suzer
Oh we'll definitely be going to the choc factory. I think there are a couple of breweries/tours around as well, plus the usual---harbour, salamanca...
