Guest RalphD Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Hi, It depends on a few things. The medicals go to Sydney for the all clear then they tell Adelaide. Have you got a case officer yet? Once they are assigned they will reveiw your case when they get to it and as long as they don't require more information, you will find out about the visa after that. Basically how long is a piece of string? There is lots of factors involved and depending on the visa you have applied for it is hard to judge. Sorry I can't be more precise. Guest SCJ6162 Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Hi It took 5 weeks for me. From the Case Officer in Aus House receiving them to my getting the approval e-mail. I enquired a few times in the period to my CO and the general window they advise is 4/8 weeks, depending on how busy the process is. Good Luck anyway!
