Guest mojo Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Hi, very confused over TRA assessmentetc. We are hoping to come out next year, I'm a nurse so the application is in my name. my husband is training to be a gas fitter but by the time we get tehre will only have about 18 months - 2 yrs experience. Guest fatpom Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 I'm not certain of my facts about this but it is a bit iffy - you need to get good advice from the appropriate body from the state you're planning to go to (eg Dept of Fair Trading in NSW). Rules are pretty strict for regulated (ie licensed) trades. It's a bit of a job protection scheme wrapped up to look like a customer/consumer protection scheme.
