Guest biggsey Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 We have been to Queensland in August, December and January and never once did we see a wasp...I am not saying they are not there but we didnt see any..We were dive bombed by plenty of christmas beetles tho!!!!..Harmless but a pain When In NSW we had problems with flies!!!!! they were everyewhere, :shock: thankyou thankyou thankyou feel quite excited now can have barbecue,s after all. calNgary Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 You do get mud wasp which are funny looking things ,they look like they have an extra body added on the end ,they dont seem to bother you and annoy you like uk wasp but they do like building nests on your walls,ants are my main bug bear they are bloomin annoyin and are everywere at the mo due to lack of water ,if there were no ants and spiders Oz would be great !!!
