Guest Angelcake
Hi All, Im looking to book flights to Brisbane for my family of 5 for early/mid November. Can anyone recommend where to go for some quotes? Thanks Angelcake
Guest Sam&Si
Hi Angelcake, It's a really expensive time to fly - we go in Dec and paid a horrendous amount! The best deal for us was direct with Singapore - there were some a bit cheaper flying with Malaysia but there was a long stop (think about 7 hours) in the airport. Staa Travel are generally pretty good and I think Emirates is also worth a look maybe? BA was by far the most expensive when we booked. Guest Angelcake
Thanks - did you book direct with the airline or did you go through STA? Thanks Angelcake
Guest Sam&Si
Hi, we went direct with the airline because we (incorrectly!) thought that was what we had to do to get the 40kg baggage allowance. Sta was only about £20 cheaper though so wasn't the end of the world! One thing though - not sure if you can do this without booking direct - we were able to choose our own seats via the SA website which was pretty cool! x
Guest HappyBunny
Hi. Try www.netflights.com For 2 adults and 3 kids on 12 November you can fly 1 way from Heathrow to Brisbane for 2,524 GBP with Cathay Pacific. We used netflights to fly to Brisbane (also family of 5) as they were the cheapest we could find, try and avoid flying at weekends at it's usually dearer. We booked everything on line without any probs.
