Once we've decided this we plan to move ahead the only prob is OH is concerned about letting his employers know our plans to soon. My OH is a foreman at a small joinery shop which is a nice family atmosphere, or so we thought. We didn't give them any dates and he said to them he would give them 6-8 weeks notice so the could find a suitable candidate. They have decided to rush ahead and make someone in house foreman on 5th of March , without consultation . We havn't even been allocated our visa !!!!!! Things have turned a bit sour. For TRA references you can as people in a higher position if you don't want bosses to know. Be careful don't give them any time scale . just say it could take years and then you might decide not to go. Even if you think they can be trusted. Will make life alot easier.
