Guest Pinhead Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 I suspect this may have something to do the capital gains tax with regard to your principle private residence although I would have thought it would have been 3 years rather than 4. If it is then it's because you don't pay tax on the 3 years gains after you stop living in your main home in the UK. Give then a call and ask .
