graham and trudy
Hi, just wanted to ask what is probably a very obvious question, but as I have only ever taken Spanish holidays, thought I better check. I am visiting Brisbane in July and I was going to bring some $aud and some travellers cheques. Is this the best thing to do ? If so, where do I change them as I am renting a house, not staying in a hotel. Sorry for being so thick but any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
Guest Mark'n'Julie
I reckon the best way is to bring a certain amount of cash to get by with and use either a credit card or debit card as you will get the best exchange rate. Worked for me every time!!! Mark
Guest spray21
Get a Nationwide flexaccount, then you can pay for goods and take out cash abroad without being charged for it.
Guest Nelson
It may be worth noting that Visa Debit cards are sometimes declined here but the answer is to press the 'Credit' button instead of 'savings' when making a payment. It took me ages to suss it out and it drove me nuts!
