Guest Jaynie
Do you have to tell them that you have no PR? I just wondered where it came up in the conversation, if you can provide work details etc., Are you being too honest????

Guest Jaynie
I don't know, but what you tell em is different to what they know, just give it a try and if they come back at you just say....."Well I didn't think it mattered" after all they can only say "NO" I don't think they have access to immigration records and as long as you can provide pay slips etc., why would they know? We got a mortgage not long after we were here, admittedly we had a PR, but the question never came up they never asked for passports, just pay slips. Give it a go! Guest Wisemad
Hi there, Check John Hughues in East Vic PArk. They did our first car loan for us for the duration of our visa( amonth short of 4 yrs) and when we went back for second car a yr later they did not even bother with the length of the visa and did the laon for the period we were confortable with. I found both the salesman and the fiance guy very helpful and the cars are quite good as well. ( they specialise in low mileage or something!!) Hope this helps. Guest Andy Thomas
Have a look at our website and click on the car finder link. We offer finance to migrants on temp visas. As long as you are employed you will be fine.
