Des9046
We are in the midst of visa 189 offshore family application and unfortunately, we have encountered a "roadblock" that requires a medical report from a specialist in Australia. The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has issued us with a Public Interest Criterion 4005 for a second time in relation to our daughter's medical. Our daughter is 3 years old and when she was 2 months old, she had GBS meningitis and ventriculitis which requires VP shunt insertion. Because of this, she has development delays in her motor skills. Our Paediatric Neurologist has already given us her medical report stating that our daughter is walking independently but she will still require early intervention mainly in physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Given that she requires physiotherapy and occupational therapy, we need to know the costs for the mentioned therapies over a period of 5 years in Australia for submission to DHA. Is there any kind soul that has direct contact to a General Paediatric in Australia to help us our with the medical assessment?
paulhand
This is very specialised stuff … I recommend that you contact a registered migration agent or an Australian “accredited specialist” lawyer who is well versed in this type of application. I can make a referral if you wish.
