homeboyxu Posted July 16, 2022 Share Posted July 16, 2022 Lawful residence date: Apr 21st, 2018 (on tourist visa) PR date: Oct 22nd, 2020 Abroad dates: May 1st 2018 - May 3rd 2019 (367 days) ; Nov 24th 2021- Feb 9th 2022 (88 days) Future abroad dates: Aug 6th 2022 - Aug 15th 2022 (10 days) The calculator says that I can apply for the citizenship on Aug 20th 2022, which is quite contradicting to the requirement. Because I would be overseas more than 90 days in the 12 months before the intended application date. (Aug 20th 2021 - Aug 20th 2022) Can anyone help me with this? But I put future abroad dates as Aug 1st 2022 - Oct 30th 2022 (92 days) just for testing. All others remain the same. The calculator says I am able to lodge the application on Nov 9th 2022. However, from the last 12 months till Nov 9th 2022, I would be obviously overseas for more than 90 days.
