Salilb Posted March 9, 2021 Share Posted March 9, 2021 Hi, How do you calculate two years work experience requirement for 482 visa? does it need to be 104 weeks @38 hours per week or part time equivalent exactly. I need some clarification on this please. As per my understanding someone working full time has got 4 weeks of annual leave plus 2 weeks of personal/sick leave which brings the working weeks per year to 46 weeks. beside there are public holidays as well. So my question is if I have 92 weeks full time payslips (including casual, part time and full time job in nominated occupation) will I meet 2 years work experience requirement for the visa. If you research about this you will only find direct answer to the question that you must have 2 years full time work experience before your visa is decided. But I believe there must me other way to calculate work experience depending on each persons cases. In short does it have to be 104 weeks/equivalent or it can be less than that after deducting annual leave, public holidays and sick leaves.
