Hi, How do you calculate two years work experience requirement for 482 visa? does it need to be 104 weeks @38 hours per week or part time equivalent exactly. I need some clarification on this please. As per my understanding someone working full time has got 4 weeks of annual leave plus 2 weeks of personal/sick leave which brings the working weeks per year to 46 weeks. beside there are public holidays as well. So my question is if I have 92 weeks full time payslips (including casual, part time and full time job in nominated occupation) will I meet 2 years work experience requirement for the visa. If you research about this you will only find direct answer to the question that you must have 2 years full time work experience before your visa is decided. But I believe there must me other way to calculate work experience depending on each persons cases. In short does it have to be 104 weeks/equivalent or it can be less than that after deducting annual leave, public holidays and sick leaves.

Hi, I had contacted TRA regarding this matter and they wrote me that I should have patience and continue my work and keep records of the pay evident. They also wrote that I should not seek any further updates about the program because of the large volume of application they would not be able to answer my queries.

Hi, Does anyone have any idea about the processing time of Job Ready Employment for chef? Actually, I was registered for the JRE on 18th July 2019. It’s been seven months already and yet they haven’t sent me Quarterly progress Report and I haven’t been appointed TRA liaison officer. I have already completed 863 hours of paid employment and ready to move towards next step of JRP. Is it only me who is experiencing delay or are you guys having same problem?
