helpplease Posted March 27, 2020 Share Posted March 27, 2020 Hi all, Unfortunately I was made redundant this week due to the current situation and soon after I received an invitation to apply for state sponsorship! Talk about typical timing! I know that you need to provide proof of ongoing employment for at least 12 months. The last I heard immigration were taking Covid-19 into consideration and were allowing extensions over the 60 days to apply. I would submit an online enquiry and ask for an extension. This is the 491 state invitation from BSMQ which I believe is the process before you get actually invited by immigration to apply for the visa.
