bencooke86
Hey guys, Does anyone know what the current processing times are for a 309 as per experience (not as per the Immigration Website estimate of 13-19 months)? My Spanish partner is coming in July, with any luck, and wondering whether we should risk her applying off shore. We'd like to given that the 309/100 is faster than the 820/800 in general. Particularly given that I've heard new legislation is coming into place which means I, as the sponsor, would need to have my sponsorship application approved (with an unknown processing time for that) before the partner visa application can be lodged, rather than doing them both simultaneously. Any help would be really appreciated! Cheers, Ben.
Beffers
The website of 13-19 months is the best guide. There's another thread specifically for the partner visa from London office that you may be able to gauge a more realistic figure from. Hawar19Jan
Better apply now this week offshore if you have enough evidence of relationship. As by the time july your application will already pass 6 big months and you may granted visa anytime after 8 months. Why wait and take Hassel of on shore.
