Joebloggs Posted January 24, 2019 Share Posted January 24, 2019 I’m not an expert but you might need Government approval to buy if you are not a Permanent resident unless you are buying jointly with a PR/Citizen. my other thought is you probably miss out on any First Home Owner grant unless you are jointly buying with a PR/Citizen. also banks are very restrictive at the moment, they are being very cautious with risk and I’m not sure how they treat non-residents. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
