Devonuk Posted January 14, 2019 Share Posted January 14, 2019 I’m an Australian citizen, my husband is British. We live in the uk and my son was born in the uk. He has a British passport. We are thinking of moving to oz in the future and will need to sort our sons citizenship and passport out. To get his citizenship by descent will I need to register his birth in Australia?? Or will his British birth certificate be ok? I will be applying for citizenship by descendent at London house and then getting passport for Australia.
