Carrie Posted November 29, 2018 Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hi All - wondering if anyone has experience in leveraging the equity in their UK rental property to assist with a deposit for an Australian residential property. Wouldn't be needing much, say £20K - £30K. The LVR would remain under 70%. I'm a bit concerned my bank might make me switch to an expat mortgage and pay a higher rate, or worse yet say no given I would be a non-UK resident.
