Pauline Mohammed Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi can someone please shed some light. I submitted a 190 state nomination EOI as I was not having much luck with 189. Received a invite this am ? although I a little unsure of process as I spent my time originally researching the 189. They have asked for some documents some I understand ie. skills assessment etc but not sur what a statement of service entails also a commitment statement and also bsmq settlement funds form are for. I found out the information about settlement funds etc. However I am worried about my work as I have always worked part time and I read somewhere that you need 4 months full time. My head is a bust ball ? I’ve got a 190 in for QLD? The visa process is almost the same as for the 189. Pauline Mohammed Posted January 11, 2018 Author Share Posted January 11, 2018 Hi yeah it was a waste of time I didn’t realise that it changed to a 489 visa which has restrictions as to were you live in Queensland. Do you have restrictions with that? Yes we have a moral obligation to remain anywhere within the State of Queensland for 2 years. Our application went in in August 2017.
