Being really close to case allocation i came to that my IELTS expired 26-10-2016. How do Immi count it?means the day they open the case or when I applied for visa (5-02-2016)? Do anyone have idea about it? I am really frustrated of 9 month wait and if I would need to do it again I will be even more late. Oh God! It will be still valid. It really depends on your occupation i guess, they been cheeky with occupations like Managers, Cook, hairdrssers. I called them one week ago and the answer was its normal time for 187 and my application is actively progressing but no case officer has reopened it since new docs submitted. Where I can see in this forum people are getting visa way quicker than that. Its really frustrating. My occupation is motor mechanic, I heard its more priority occupation but doesn't make sense why they kept me waiting for two months already. Anyone out there in the same waiting period???? I was thinking maybe it will be end of this month or early December. You might need to call immi mate. I did call them 27/10/2016 and got visa 3/11/2016. They said it will take couple of weeks before they start February however I got my visa within 5 business days after that call. It might help as I have experienced. My friend applied for 186 then he had 7 days to complete his 3 years of IELTS and he got the visa even though it was expired ages ago. Still I believe sometimes it depends on case officer. Nomination did not approved yet but today Immi ask for document request. They ask 80 form. How is it possible to open visa before nomination?
