KangaKit
Hi, Just wondering if anyone has managed to secure a permanent visa if a member of their family has had a heart attack previously?:skeptical:
George Lombard
We've had such clients approved - it really depends on what risk of relapse is assessed and what current medication if any is in play. Good luck! Cheers, George Lombard
wrussell
I once represented a medical practitioner who had a quadruple bypass and a stent inserted and various other interventions. He assured me that none of these would be detected by x-ray and wanted to know whether he should mention them. I told him that I wanted a cardiologist's opinion, the guts of which was that he would live a fairly normal life, or suddenly drop dead; neither of which outcomes would burden the Australian taxpayer. Visas were granted.
KangaKit
Thank you both so much for your replies. Do you think this is a case that could possibly be undertaken without an agent, or alternatively are you able to appoint an agent primarily for the medicals?
