Rainman
Despite having paid tax on my earnings in Australia, am I required to declare my foreign earned income when I return to the UK?
bristolman
Do you mean money you would be bring over with you or money you would still be earning from Australia ? You wouldn't need to pay tax on money you had earned and was taking into the UK.
suesmalls
I hear you @Rainman - we are moving to UK and eventually I will have my Super to call on which I've paid full tax on in Australia - but you must declare and get taxed on in UK. It's some time away with my age but haven't looked into all the details. I'd suggest speaking with a professional on this (like in Australia) you can set up structures such as trust funds etc to reduce tax burdens - especially if you've already paid tax on in one country - it's worth investigating. Good luck
