Guest Unregistered
Hi, Would anyone working in the care industry be able to help? I will be coming to Adelaide next year and have worked in a variety of care settings (kids, adults, elderly , disabilities etc) in the Uk. I have NVQ 3 Care of Children, Care certificate and a degree in Social Studies. When I look at job vacancies in Oz they just specify certificates in disability iii, etc (no mention of equivalent studies). Is anyone working on just their UK credentials or are these courses mandatory? Thanks x
flag of convenience
All I know is the aged care side of things is always short of workers, but pay is low. Other areas would be more luck. Saying that most job growth is in social care of one sort or another.
