Suziedoll
Hi. We already have PR. Husband is thinking of doing a Maths PGCE in UK before we make the move. Is this enough to get a job? Do they usually just look for maths teachers or do they want you to be able to teach a second subject? Thanks Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
benj1980
Your question is too open. Where do you want to live? State to state, area to area, school to school have different ideas of what they want.
Suziedoll
Either QLD, NSW or SA. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Coolerking
Either QLD, NSW or SA. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Hi, Based on SA and the private sector, the keyword is flexibility. From my experience, you might get asked "can you teach middle school science?", which there is one reply if you want the job. I went for TRT interview at a large, very successful school in Adelaide and was repeatedly asked if I could teach science - there was a science job going. Cheers, Cooler
benj1980
Agreed, showing some flexibility is always going to work in your favour. You are flexible with where you live presumably so a Maths PGCE could be useful.
