wrussell Posted September 7, 2016 Share Posted September 7, 2016 TRA, in conjunction with RTOs, is the only body that can undertake skills assessments for cooks. If you are from one of; Brazil, China, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR, India, Macau SAR, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam or Zimbabwe you can apply for a '457' skills assessment as a cook, otherwise you cannot. It might be possible for you to apply for a 'full' pre-migration skills assessment, but it is arguable that it is not open to delegates to request this for a 457 applicant.
