niknikniknik
Hi, Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place or doing it wrong all together... I am a registered nurse in the uk and this morning received my AHPRA. My sponsor employer already nominated me for the 457 visa but now I'm not too sure what to do next. Also does anyone know if I need a separate skills assessment or does having my AHPRA sort of cancel that out? Very confused. Would rather not go through a migration agency as I can't afford the extra cost. Any help would be great! Nikki
xxlornaxx
You don't need skills assessment for 457...my employer sponsored me sent me a link when ready for me to apply and fill in my part of visa so I would ask your employer what and when your next steps are

Incase anyone else needs info this was my step by step to where I'm at: * Create ImmiAccount * Start 457 visa application from 457 visa page * 457 visa application ready to submit * Contacted health insurance company and set up medical cover satisfactory for 457 visa (I went with Bupa) * Health Insurance company emailed me certification letter (this must be submitted with application) Im now gathering other documents needed to go with my application. Does anyone know if I need to enrol with medicare first? nikki
