PerfectPerth Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 We are about to submit our EOI for a 189 visa... It clearly states for the visa you need a Current, Valid Passport. I have a UK passport but it expires in less than 12 months. I was holding off having it renewed as im getting married in a year and wanted to change my name. Will immigration, medicals etc accept a passport with this amount left on it?? Im reading somewhere it has to be 2 years? Would it matter if we submit the EOI (my fiance is the main applicant) with one passport number and then change the passport number on the medicals/application??? MelbourneTractor Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Hi, there's a form you can fill in to change the passport on your application, I'll see if I can find the reference number for you tomorrow.
