MiloB
Hello all, My partner, a Swedish nurse, submitted an application to ANMAC 3 months ago, and just yesterday received a letter saying ANMAC is putting a hold on her assessment (full assessment) for 2 YEARS as they aim to align themselves with AHPRA. In the note, it says that if AHPRA is likely to refuse registration, then ANMAC should also do that too. This isn't too much of an issue for those of you who directly qualify for AHPRA registration, however for those of you expecting to get your ANMAC accreditation and then do a bridging course (eg. Diploma Nurses), things are now different. Now my partner cannot register for AHPRA until she completes the bridging course, and now she cannot apply for ANMAC until she registers for AHPRA. I guess we will try do a Partner Visa now...
