MelanieJS
I'm moving to Brisbane in December and want to keep my UK bank account (Santander) and credit card (M&S). Does anyone know if I just have to give them my Australian address or do I still have to give them a UK address? Any help appreciated.......... Marisawright
It's up to you. There is no law that says you can't have a UK bank account if you live overseas, but apparently one or two banks ARE closing accounts if you move permanently. So if you have the choice, I would suggest giving them a UK address to avoid any problems. If you can switch all your statements and communications to email/online then that shouldn't be a problem for you.
