Neil Morris Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hi Just secured our house in the lower part of dural, very close to castle hill and oakhill/Cherrybrook, can anyone tell me if dural public primary school is any good, we have been to visit and it seems very nice and friendly, wife seemed to think it was a bit small and oldey worldy (if you know what i mean). Has your wife joined the Facebook group Hills District Mums? There are lots of friendly helpful mums on there who can give local advice. Good luck. But Dural is a gorgeous place to live. Neil Morris Posted September 9, 2015 Author Share Posted September 9, 2015 Thankyou for the replies, kids have got into oakhill drive public school which is great, now the dilemma is my son will be going to secondary school in January, but our house is 1 street out of catchment for Cherrybrook technology school which is very hard to get into, so our catchment school is Galston high, which is really far away and people have told me it's a bad school, with a drug problem! Barkers College in Hornsby is very well respected. I know of a couple of boys in the Galston / Dural / Cherrybrook / areas who go there.
