  1. My kids have got into oakhill drive public school which is great, now the dilemma is my son will be going to secondary school in January, but our house is 1 street out of catchment for Cherrybrook technology school which is very hard to get into, so our catchment school is Galston high, which is really far away and people have told me it's a bad school, with a drug problem! Any ideas? Neil

  3. Hi Just secured our house in the lower part of dural, very close to castle hill and oakhill/Cherrybrook, can anyone tell me if dural public primary school is any good, we have been to visit and it seems very nice and friendly, wife seemed to think it was a bit small and oldey worldy (if you know what i mean). Unfortunately we are out of the catchment area for oakhill primary. Any feedback would appreciated Thanks Neil

  5. Hi Whitey, Our friends live in Coomera waters and we have visited twice, lovely area and the houses are really nice and cheap compared to Sydney, got offered a job in Sydney and that's where we are going. We are going to stay there for a while and then move to Coomera in a year or two, great area for the kids with wet and wild, dream world, movie world and sea world all on your door step. Its only an hour commute to Brisbane central on the train, so shouldn't be a problem for your other half. Neil

  9. Hi Moving to Sydney in Sept and was wandering if a combined wage of $200,000 would be enough to rent houses in the price range of $1000-$1300. Thanks Neil
  10. Hi Moving to Sydney in Sept and wondered if anybody knows the commutes times by car from St Ives or Castle Hill to Greenacre. Thanks Neil
  11. Just spent 4 weeks on the Gold Coast, which was to activate our 189 Visa and to look at Houses, schools and Jobs. Spent a few emails off to Job agencies, but didn't get any replies, didn't really apply for any jobs as I can't move over until August of this year, any advice what to do next? Any idea what licences I might need or are some of the companies willing to put you through these? I have 18 Years experience in the food manufacturing industry and have seen quite a few jobs in this area, the same Jobs seem to always pop up so know they don't get many fitters with this kind of experience. Cheers Neil
