Should we take our wardrobes to Oz?

We didn't rent at all but just about every house we looked at to buy (and there were many) had built in wardrobes or walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom (usually walk ins) and at least one other bedroom would have a built in. If it was a 4 bed, usually 3 of the 4 bedrooms had them. If it was a 3 bed, 2 of the 3. Some had all rooms with them. I can't think of a house that didn't have them in some shape or form tbh.

If they are decent, flat pack or can be filled with stuff once loaded on a container, bring them. You can always sell them later on if you don't end up needing them. If its not cost effective to bring them with you now, sell them there.

We had one Ikea wardrobe we flat packed and brought with us. Only because we had bought it not long before and saw the price of them in Aus so figured flat packed would fit in fine in our small containers (we used a large MoveCube) and it did. However, now it sits half filled with stuff in our spare room as a guest wardrobe for when we have visitors. I plan to remove it at some point and sell it. Then put a smaller one in there as its too big and we don't need it.
