figment
I have a skilled regional sponsored visa subclass 489, so am required to live in 'regional Australia'. I have just arrived in Australia - Monday 3rd August and registered my arrival, but currently I am stopping with my Sister in Fremantle, which is obviously not in regional Australia. I will be moving to Mandurah in a few weeks once my container arrives, but cannot work out how I change the address on my record of arrival in Australia. Does anyone know how I do this, or how I need to prove where I am living in Australia so that I am complying with the Visa requirements? Thanks
Bungo
You will need to prove it when you apply for the next stage visa. I am not sure what you mean by "registering your arrival", what have you done so far??
toOZ2012
Don't know about the exact requirements for the 489 but WA sponsored skilled applicants should register here: http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/services/skilled-migration-wa/newly-arrived-skilled-migrants May be they can point you in the right direction. figment
I was sent a link to register my arrival which I did. So far that is all I have done. That's great, thank you toOZ2012 - I have now emailed the government to find out the exact requirements. Cheers
