apj696
I currently hold a Thai driving licence, that was issued to me through my International GB licence. I lost my GB license a few years ago but didn't re apply as my thai license was all I needed as that's where I have been living for the last 11 years. I am moving to NSW at the end of September, wondering if I am able to drive on my Thai license (its in English and has photo id) or if I need to try and re apply for my GB license? Any advice most appreciated.
Suzukiscottie
If you are moving as a permanent resident, then you have 3 months in NSW to get a local driving licence. Temporary residents can drive on their overseas licence for the duration of the visa as long as the licence is still current.
