Does he have to do the job doing 'Joinery' once in Australia- Or can he do any type of job? also if it gets granted- Do you have to validate the visa by going to Australia within a certain time? eg do you have to move straight away. Thanks in advance You can do whichever job takes your fancy, once you're there you're there. And once fe you get invited you'll be asked to take a medical and get a police check. These are only valid for 12 months so you have to be in the country before that 12 month period ends so whichever one comes first you have 12 months from the date it was issued. Just to clarify the above post, you may enter Australia, pass through immigration to activate your visa and turn around and return home on the same plane if you wish.
