Hodgies2Oz
For those that suffered badly withbhayfever before moving to Oz, do you still suffer over there? Be interested to know as my husband and daughter suffer terribly over in the UK. Little bit of heat in the UK this week and they have been in a right state. Have people found this eases over in Australia at all or is that just wishful thinking? TIA x
mungbean
I bought antihistamines (for mosquito bites) that were branded as being for Hay Fever sufferers, so presumably it's a similar situation if you're affected. Would living next to the coast would make it slightly less of a problem?
NicF
Plenty of people get hayfever here and there are plenty of options for treatment (I sit near five hayfever sufferers at work). Whether your family will suffer will depend on what it is that sets their hayfever off and whether they are effected by the pollens here as well. Unfortunately you won't know for sure until you get here.
boganbear
Mine is certainly not as bad in Qld but it has its moments. It was pretty bad in Melbourne but that's because of the plane trees which are known to be the worst for hay fever and the pollen is toxic.
