Hi Guys,

Please advise the way forward for getting PR visa if my wife is a primary applicant based on below details:

1. My Wife is a student of University of Adelaide and pursuing PHD in INTERNATIONAL POLITICS on scholarship.

2. Her Age is 34

3. She has IELTS academic score of 8 Bands

4. She has completed 1 year in her academics.

5. My skills have been assessed positively by VETASSESS

Looking forward to some excellent advice.

Thanks

Ash

You cant mix and match. Either your wife is the applicant (and since she is still studying she is not eligible until she has finished successfully (not all PhD students do pass) or you are in which you need to meet all the criteria

Hi,

Honestly one MARA Agent has confused us and has advised it will be better that I can make my spouse as primary applicant due to age, IELTS and one year completion of academics.

Listen though I have my skills assessed but that is being done for gaining extra 5 points as spouse if I become secondary applicant. That is the reason I have mentioned about my skills assessment.

Don't understand your post. You talk about your wife as main applicant but then mention you have the skills assessment, so aren't you going t be the main applicant?
