Lisa V
Hello, I am thinking of starting a postgraduate Primary PGCE, specialising in ages 3-7. My concern is that the Early childhood teacher course in Oz specialises in ages 3-8. Does anyone have an idea if the U.K. course would be accepted? Thank you. Thanks again :-) Well as far as I know if you hold at least a 3 year degree and 1 year PGCE you should be fine. To be safe just contact them, better to find out off them. Contact Aitsl first then, better to find out now I suppose.
Ozmaniac
If you don't already have a visa, it's more important to make sure you will meet the AITSL requirements for a positive skills assessment as an Early Childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher. Without a positive skills assessment from them, you won't get a visa. http://www.aitsl.edu.au/assessment-for-migration AITSL skills assessment
