Hi, Just wondering how everyone found the IELTS exam.

It was fine, better than I thought it would be. Definitely worth doing some practice exams to get the hang of the format

Also consider that there are now alternatives to IELTS for Australian visa purposes. I don't know much about any of them but it seems that PTE Academic may be a bit easier to understand than IELTS (with IELTS, you have to really know HOW to do the tests) and the tests are computer based so the test environment may be better.

I would echo Atlas, I had to take it twice because I gained a 7.5 when I needed all 8's. Worth going through practice papers online, when you book a test there is an online practice facility as part of your fee these days as well.
