KirkyG
My wife received a reminder from the ATO to submit a Tax Return, her only taxable income is $114 dollars which some savings I have set up. Given that this is significantly below the taxable threshold, have they sent this in error. Or should we have completed a tax return?
Parley
No, you should fill in a non lodgement advice. This is a simple electronic advice stating you don't need to complete a tax return.

Guest
Is she taxed at source on these savings? If so do the tax return and she will get a refund.
