I'm planning to be an elec tech in Melbourne - repairing and maintaining industrial equipment - maybe medical or printing equipment. I'm pretty sure I'll need a REL not the full blown EL. I'm looking for anyone who has sat (and passed) the REL test in VIC. (vic uni maybe) Do you need a job first? Do you need to apply for it via ESV? I'm sure I have no chance (or do I say Buckleys chance) of getting a job without it.
