Cheapest shipping option

For something that small an international courier is probably the best/cheapest option. You can get quotes here https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk (there are other similar sites too)

You could try the excess baggage company (http://www.excess-baggage.com) but I doubt it would work out cheaper.

A shipping company possibly would take it but you could be waiting months as it would be a tiny part of a large container and if it was me I would worry about ever actually getting it.

Depending on the size of the object you could risk putting it in hand luggage and hoping it isn't weighed (it rarely is) and risking an excess baggage charge from the airline if it is.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, Item is a new single gas hob, so it would fit in my carry on case, just not sure as to whether I would be allowed to carry it onboard.

Not quite sure what you mean by a 'single gas hob' - the kind of thing you use for camping?

Without a gas canister it would be okay I think but you could check with the airline. The general guidelines from the UK are here https://www.gov.uk/hand-luggage-restrictions/overview

You would risk an excess baggage charge though if your airline has a weight limit on hand luggage. Would your brother be willing to cover the charge?
