MARYROSE02 Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 Probably. I'm sure you don't need either an International Driver's Licence or a newer UK license with a photo. I've got an old UK licence, though I got my NSW licence within a few months of arriving. It might be worth getting the International licence anyway, and make sure you have adequate insurance.
