eagle656
Hi guys, i am sorry if this question asked before.i couldn't find an answer. Please somebody reply. i have applied for family visa (189) on September . All our documents uploaded and Medicals cleared. Police certificate obtained and uploaded from UK. my wife lived in Republic of Ireland for over a year during 2004-2005. We have included this period while obtaining police certificate from UK as requested. My question is does she need a separate police cratification from Republic of Ireland or Uk Police clearance is enough.. .? She obtained Ireland police clearance when she moved to UK (2005) any suggestion of similar experience please.. THanks you
aconcannon
You 100% need seperate police checks if you've lived in a different country for more than 12 months
Ozmaniac
She will need a Police Certificate of Character for Ireland. A UK ACPO Police Certificate only covers Northern Ireland.
