jimmy1986
Hi, We're flying out this week, I'll be out on a 189 but my mrs is going out on a WHV until her spouse visa is granted (around January, we hope! Submitted in April...). In regards to landing cards/interogation, does she need to say she's only here temporary (as per working holiday visa) ? Would they begin to raise questions if I'm on a permanent visa but she's on a temporary and we're clearly entering with intentions to stay? Anyone else been in this situation? lebourvellec
Your not going to have any issues, they are not going to interrogate anyone. Many people go over on visitors visas waiting for spouse visas to be granted, her WHV will have work rights. Just ensure to inform your CO of your plans as she will need to leave Australia when her visa is ready to be granted.
