I then applied for a Residents Return Visa for a year which was refused because I could not show any ties with Australia and had not lived there for more than 2 years of the last five. I have been back in the UK now for over 3 years but family and I were wishing to return. Can anyone tell me if I can re apply at any point for a RRV? If not is there any other visa that I could apply for? I still have good contacts in Australia who would happily offer me a job and also we have family residing there. Any advice would be great. oppyddrum Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 I believe if you have a job offer, that can be accepted as signifying ties to Australia... i believe i have seen some people on other threads say they used that and it was accepted.
